Já pensaram no que fariam se soubessem que tinham apenas mais um dia de vida? Que gostavam de levar convosco? De fazer pela ultima vez? A primeira coisa que me veio à cabeça foi o cheiro da manhã. Sabem, aquele cheiro a erva, terra e vento húmido duma manhã de outono. Queria cheirar isso pela última vez. Beber os primeiros raios de sol do dia. E despedir-me das últimas réstias de luz do dia. Queria sentir de novo o prazer de sentir o mar ali ao pé. Cheirar o sal. Ouvir o mar de novo... Queria rir-me. Rir-me até não poder mais. Rir até me doer a cara. Queria dar um beijo. Sentir o abraço do amor e não enfrentar a dor da despedida. Queria segurar de novo um buquêt de lápis acabados de afiar. Queria escrever o meu nome pela última vez numa folha de papel. Queria comer uma bela última refeição. Empanturrar-me numa montanha de doces até não poder mais. Queria ajudar alguém antes de me despedir. Queria pegar no carro e seguir sem sentido estrada fora. Puxar pelos limites e gozar a velocidade e a adrenalina. Queria ver tudo e todos. Queria despedir-me dos meus amigos, não com um "adeus" mas simplesmente dizendo o quanto são importantes. Queria chorar no ombro da minha mãe e dar um abraço ao meu pai. Queria deitar-me na relva de barriga para cima e ver as nuvens passar. Queria sentir o vento da cara e a chuva escorrer-me pela cara. . . Com tanta coisa que queria fazer. . . Um dia não chegava. . . Uma semana era insuficiente. . . E um ano. . . inutil. E, então, percebi uma percentagem minúscula da frustração de quem se confronta com essa realidade . . . E percebi também quantas pequenas coisas me prendem a este mundo. . .
